Zep (Philippe Chappuis, also known as) *1967 - Zep (Philippe Chappuis, also known as) *1967 Little Poetry of the Seasons This year… Felt-tip pen and Ecoline liquid watercolor on paper for this plate, part of the month of January and reproduced in this special album published in 2005 by Glénat editions. Signed “Z”. Petite poésie des saisons was first published in Italian format (56 pages, with a calendar for each month of the year): “Attention! This book is very special because it has several uses… You can read it… You can note important dates in the calendar… Plus… It has a very solid binding! – It’s a mega-essential book!” (preface). The 2019 re-edition reappeared in the collection format (38 pages + 2 pages dedicated to astrological signs), and this title became volume 16 of the series. Very few Titeuf plates were made with direct colors: those that make up this album, and about ten others, sometimes previously unpublished. 29.7 x 42 cm Has Titeuf become wiser? This rather short list of good resolutions could indeed lead one to believe so. Why not try judo: he already sees himself in a kimono, with a black belt. Which, moreover, should impress his friends; it would make him the king of the playground. He also thinks of Nadia, his beloved but inaccessible little princess. He thinks of her every day, in fact. If the reverse could be true, it would be wonderful. But it's not a done deal, he'll have to find sufficiently convincing arguments, because until now, she has always said no to him. For math, there might be hope: his grades are so bad that he can only improve; the smallest effort on his part should therefore help him improve his average. As for his room, despite the mountain of objects of all sorts that have accumulated, it's just a question of willpower: if he seriously gets to it, in one weekend, he should see things more clearly. Such ambitious goals will not necessarily be easy to achieve. This therefore deserves some encouragement.
