A large and magnificent brass menorah for the synagogue., North Africa. 19th century. A large and luxurious brass menorah for the synagogue, quality and heavy casting work. A central body mounted on a screw-on post in the upper ball is decorated with a pair of large hamsots, including a Star of David, with hanging appliqués of hamsots with hand-made inscriptions: ”El Hanun”, ”El Rahum”, ”El Shadi”, three legs attached to the base forming an impressive and beautiful menorah, probably for the synagogue the central one in the city.
