Embroidery work – ”Yaharzeit”. Year 5658 (1898) Embroidery work, ”Yaharzeit” panel, embroidery of colored cotton threads on perforated cardboard. A perforated cardboard with a variety of texts and plant and animal decorations embroidered on it – a pair of songbirds, a pair of lions. At the top appears the word ”Yaharzeit”, in the center on the right and left of the columns are embroidered memorial inscriptions for Zion At the bottom appears the sentence: ”The wicked have suffered and are hungry, but the commandments of the Lord shall not lack any good: (Psalms, chapter 34, verse 11).
