Souvenir Plate Commemorating the Founding of the State of Israel – ”If You Will It Is No Legend” – USA A souvenir plate made of ceramic, decorated with a map of the Land of Israel, commemorating the founding of the State of Israel. United States, [circa 1948]. In the center of the plate appears a map of the country according to the borders of the UN Partition Plan, in which only the city of Tel Aviv is indicated, and next to it the inscriptions ”If You Will It Is No Legend” and ”If You Will It Is No Legend”. On the circumference of the plate appears the inscription ”Republic of Israel, May 14, 1948” and the Israeli flags. The edges of the plate are decorated with a gold stripe. Signed ”N. Trought”.
