Dimensions: 40 cm A Torah scroll, impressive and particularly large, made of silver, decorated with openwork of vegetation and flowers and with a Hebrew inscription: Yaakov Bar-Josig Peis Lichm Moshehu Ruach Naram Zapish Zeki Arash. The city of Ansbach is located in the Berean region of Germany, and is considered the capital of the Franconia region. The city of Ansbach was home to a small Jewish community founded in the 14th century. In 1564, the Jews were expelled from the city, and only in the 17th century was the Jewish community renewed in an orderly and official manner.
