Olive Wood Etrog Box - Souvenir from Jerusalem Etrog Box. Jerusalem, early 20th century. Octagonal box. Colorful inlay at the corners. On the front is a model of the Western Wall, with inscriptions: ”Yerushalem”, ”Jerusalem”, and ”Western Wall”. On the other sides are illustrations of the holy places: ”Place of the Temple”, ”Yad Avishalom”, ”Kever Samuel”, ”Cave of the Patriarchs”, ”Tombs of the Kings of the House of David”, ”Zechri' the Prophet” and ”Rachel our Mother”. On the lid is an embossed decoration of an open book decorated with branches, and on it is a printed inscription of the blessing ”On the taking of the lulav”, and the blessing ”Shehayinu”. Inscription in a frame on the lid: ”And you took for yourselves the fruit of the palm tree on the first day... and you rejoiced for seven days”. Height: 9 cm. Width: 16 cm
