Pair of pomegranates for a Torah scroll - North Africa Pomegranates for a Torah scroll. North Africa, probably Tunisia, stamped, 20th century. Silver, stamped, cast and engraved. Designed as towers, each side of the pomegranate has windows in openwork. From the sides extend hangers for bell chains [most of the chains are missing]. Dedication inscription on the reeds: ”For the repose of the young man Shimon Yaakov Saada Naum, 19th of Kislev, 1858 Height: 46 cm. Bell chains are missing
