Carpet made by ”Marvadia” – Jerusalem, 1920s A large wool carpet decorated with three medallions, made by the ”Marvadia” workshop from the ”Bezalel Jerusalem” workshop, circa 1920. In the center of the carpet is a chain of three diamond-shaped medallions with small squares inside, and around them a pattern of repeating geometric lines. The frame surrounding the carpet is inlaid with alternating vegetation and flowers. Signed ”Marvadia Jerusalem” on its edges. Dimensions 98*190 cm
