Mobile board for a funeral ceremony - Chevera Kaddisha in Prague. RARE. A wooden board with a handle for carrying, for use during a funeral ceremony. ”Made from the charity fund of HC Goh [Kadisha Gomeli Chesadim Society] in HC Prague”. With two printed pages [the pages were printed in Trnava, Slovakia, circa 1920s]. On one side of the wooden board was pasted a page with the wording ”Mektam for David” and on the other side was pasted a page with the wording ”Le Mifadhan Lebne-Karah Psalm” (said at the funeral home). The title ”Stain to David” was printed in red ink. Pages: 16x25 cm. Board length (including the handle): 39 cm. Good-moderate condition. Stains (some dark) and wear on the paper pages. Defects in the wood panel.
