Ottoman Empire, early 20th century A rectangular map whose entire surface is decorated with embroidery in orange, purple, light blue and shades of brown. Along the fabric are embroidered three models of Stars of David enclosing the word ”Zion”, among which are floral and geometric decorations and around them a strip consisting of the word ”Jerusalem”, in a repeating pattern. Length: 174 cm, width: 43 cm, fair condition. Wear, prima, holes, old embroidery repairs.
