Torah scroll plate. Germany, second half of the 19th century Silver (stamped ”13”) cast and cut, stamped, stamped and engraved. Acanthus leaf frame. On both sides are columns. In the lower part is a window for displaying the names of the festivals or parashots, above which are fixed two tablets of the covenant with the Ten Commandments and two crowns (embossed). On both sides of the plates are fixed two heraldic lions crowned with crowns, supporting the Torah crown. The entire background is engraved with a diamond pattern. At the bottom of the plate hang three medallions in the shape of a shield. On the first is the inscription ”From the people of our congregation”, on the second the inscription ”In the seat for the day of our celebration 5730 פק” and on the third ”In honor of the Torah of our God”. On the back of the plate is a chain. Dimensions: 31*43 cm. Weight: 995 g.
