A pair of large silver candlesticks for Shabbat. Poland, second half of the 19th century. A pair of antique silver candlesticks for lighting Shabbat candles, made with high-quality and beautiful craftsmanship. The base of the candlesticks is square, and on top of it is a rounded candlestick decorated entirely with fine silver stamping and embossing, as well as hammer work. At the bottom of the candlesticks are silver stamps from the Wernerasa workshop, which was founded in Poland in 1876 by Theodor Werner, and operated by him until 1896, when Karol Melch took over the company. Height: 35 cm. Weight: 932 grams.
