Turkey, Ottoman Empire (now Turkey), late 19th century A crown with a cylindrical shape, open at the base and upper part. Its structure and decorations include sixteen pointed arches whose ends are slightly bent towards the front. The arches are decorated with a repeating and symmetrical plant pattern that includes a flower. In the inner part, a rectangular, flat and wide silver rod is soldered, with the Tablets of the Covenant and above it a Torah crown as an ornament and addition to the book connects with the rods of the Torah scroll. With the inscription: ”For from Zion shall go forth the Torah and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem, in the ”Heichal Ha'am Turkey”. Condition: very good, diameter: 36 cm, height: 19 cm, weight: 975 grams.
