Pair of large ”pomegranates” for a Torah scroll - Vienna.weight: 875 grams. A pair of silver ”pomegranates” for a Torah scroll. Austria-Hungary, late 19th century Designed in a pattern common in Vienna in the 19th century, base with the inscription: ”The Adlander family in memory of the soul of their brother Rabbi Meir Ben Dov, z”l, decorated with embossed and pierced plant motifs. Each ”pomegranate” is surrounded by a row of 6 bells and at the top of each ”pomegranate” is a crown-shaped decoration with a ball ending above it. Signed with Austro-Hungarian quality stamps, used between 1886-1922 and with the FA manufacturer's stamps. Very good condition, light dents at the base, weight: 875 grams
