Copperplate engraving, printed in 1670, historical and rare in German, depicting the Exodus from Egypt, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the 40-year wanderings of the Israelites in the Sinai Desert on their way to the Promised Land. The map was printed in 1670 for the magnificent edition of the Bible by theologian Leonhard Hutter, produced in Frankfurt and Wittenberg. Good condition, minor tears.
