Franz Bernheimer - 'Figure' - Pencil drawing on paper, signed, dimensions: 28X22 cm Franz Bernheimer, Israeli, born in Germany, 1911-1997. Bernheimer's early works were destroyed by bombing during World War II. A limited number of works also remain from his time in Cuba He taught the history of Renaissance art at the University of Haifa in the 1970s. In 1988, his last solo exhibition was held at the Herzliya Museum.
