Yitzhak Rabin Gold Medal State Medal, 1995 Purity: 9999 (24 carats), weight: 26 grams , diameter: 34.0 mm, housed in an olive wood box. Obverse of the medal: Portrait of Yitzhak Rabin against the background of the Israeli flag. On the left, along the circumference, the inscription ”Yitzhak Rabin Prime Minister and Minister of Defense” and ”PRIME MINISTER YITZHAK RABIN”. In the lower part, along the circumference, the years ”1922-1995”. Reverse of the medal: Dove, the symbol of the state, the symbol of the IDF and the symbol of the Palmach. Below the symbols, the inscription ”I devoted all my life to security and peace”, the English version ”I devoted all my life to security and peace” and the signature of Yitzhak Rabin in Hebrew and English. On gold medals, the reverse side is embossed at 180 degrees relative to the obverse side.
