A book of tours in and around Jerusalem ”Walks about the City and Environs of Jerusalem” written and illustrated in 1850 by the famous British artist and engraver William Henry Bartlett (W. H. Bartlett). This is one of the most famous and influential travel books about the Land of Israel and Jerusalem from the 19th century, and it is considered a valued collector's item. The book describes Bartlett's impressions from his visit to Jerusalem in the summer of 1842. It takes the reader on three detailed tours of the Old City and its surroundings, and includes historical descriptions. Very good condition, size: 18 x 26 cm
