Islamic Water/Coffee Kettle, Late 19th Century A magnificent Islamic water/coffee kettle made of hand-crafted brass, engraved with a pattern of flowers, leaves and dense and magnificent arabesques with depth and rich texture. On both sides of the kettle's belly are combined classic medallions with Arabic/Persian inscriptions, rare double-sided calligraphy: On one side is engraved the greeting ”Izz wa Iqbal”: and: Glory, honor and prosperity. On the other side is engraved the continuation of the traditional greeting to the owners of the house and guests, including wishes of honor, friendship and success, designed handle, wide and stable base.
