A pair of large and impressive Torah Finials for the Sefer Torah - Europe, early 1920s
A pair of Torah Finials for a Torah book. Cast and plated silver (signed); filigree; gilding.
A pair of large, heavy and massive "grenades". Having a two-story octagonal body, consisting of rectangular filigree panels decorated with flowers and arched windows. On the lower floor is a balcony surrounded by a fence and in its windows are placed eight birds holding bells in their beaks (the birds are fixed on springs that allow their movement). At the top of the second floor is a wreath of filigree leaves, above it eight more birds arranged in a circle (with holes for bells in the beaks) and a large decoration in the form of a crown, with a large bell in the center and a flower with a marble at the top. Stand on large cylindrical legs, which gradually expand towards the base.
