A Chinese Famille Rose Yellow-Ground Bowl, Kangxi Mark
A polychrome porcelain bowl with a deep, rounded body, everted rim, and a footed base. The exterior features a bright yellow ground overlaid with an intricate, repeating geometric pattern, serving as a backdrop for elaborate *famille rose* enamel decoration depicting various flowering plants, including peonies, lotus, and chrysanthemums. A distinct band of blue and yellow key-fret pattern encircles the foot, while the interior remains plain white. The underside of the foot bears a blue underglaze six-character mark within a double rectangular frame, reading '大清康熙年製' (Dà Qīng Kāngxī Nián Zhì), which translates to 'Made in the Great Qing Kangxi Reign'.
