A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dragon Stem Cup, Xuande Mark. - A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dragon Stem Cup, featuring underglaze cobalt decoration on a white ground. The exterior of the cup is adorned with a dynamic five-clawed dragon amidst scrolling clouds. The interior base displays a coiled dragon motif. The tall, flared stem or foot is decorated with stylized waves or mountain forms. A four-character horizontal reign mark, '宣德年製' (Xuande Nian Zhi), translating to 'Made in the Xuande reign, ' is visible on the exterior rim of the cup. H: Approximately 17.5cm
