A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dragon 'Bitong' Brush Pot, Yongzheng Mark - A Chinese blue and white porcelain 'bitong' brush pot of cylindrical form. The exterior is decorated in underglaze blue with a detailed depiction of a five-clawed dragon amidst scrolling floral vines, including peonies. The rim and base are bordered by a wave or cloud pattern. The base bears a six-character underglaze blue mark within a double ring, which reads 'Dà Qīng Yōng Zhèng Nián Zhì' (大清雍正年製), translating to ”Made in the Great Qing Yongzheng Reign” (1722-1735). While visually similar examples are often attributed to the Qianlong period in the market, this specific piece bears a Yongzheng reign mark. H: Approximately 15cm
