A Chinese Doucai Porcelain Covered Jar, Tian Mark - A Chinese doucai porcelain covered jar. The squat, ovoid body and domed lid are adorned with vibrant polychrome enamel decoration, featuring scrolling floral and foliate designs in tones of green, blue, red, and yellow, detailed with black outlines against a white ground. Decorative borders with repeating motifs encircle the jar's top and base, while the domed lid presents a central floral medallion within similar banding. The underside of the unglazed base bears a single underglaze blue character, 天 (Tiān), which translates to 'Heaven' or 'Sky'. H: Approximately 11cm
