A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Vase Decorated with Narrative Figure Scenes, Kangxi Mark. - A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, featuring a globular body tapering to a flared rim. The vase is decorated with two distinct, shaped cartouches, each depicting a multi-figure narrative scene within a landscape setting, all rendered in vibrant underglaze cobalt blue. These cartouches are surrounded by a densely scrolled floral and foliate pattern covering the remaining body, neck, and foot. The base bears a six-character underglaze blue mark, ”大清康熙年製” (Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi), which translates to ”Made in the Great Qing Kangxi Period, ” alongside a modern inventory sticker.
