A Chinese Underglaze Red Dragon Stem Cup - A Chinese underglaze red decorated and moulded porcelain stem cup. The ceramic stemmed cup features a light celadon-type glaze. The exterior is decorated with a vigorously depicted dragon in underglaze iron-red or copper-red pigment. The stem is molded with a series of raised rings mimicking bamboo. The interior rim displays a scrolling border, and the base of the cup's interior features a flame-like motif, both executed in the same reddish-brown pigment.
