A Chinese Blue and White Dragon Lobed Bowl, Xuande Mark. - A Chinese Xuande mark blue and white porcelain bowl, featuring a lobed body and a scalloped rim, resting on a small, unglazed footring. The exterior is decorated with blue underglaze dragons contained within white-ground reserves, separated by vertical blue lines and bordered by ruyi-like motifs at the top. The interior base displays a central roundel enclosing a five-clawed dragon amidst clouds. The underside of the bowl reveals a six-character blue underglaze reign mark in a double circle, which translates to ”Made in the Xuande reign of the Great Ming dynasty.” H: Approximately 12cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
