A Chinese Blue Glazed and Underglaze Blue Decorated Dragon Bowl, Yongzheng Mark. - A Chinese porcelain bowl. The exterior is covered in a deep cobalt blue monochrome glaze. The interior features a white ground decorated with a narrow underglaze blue scrolling pattern below the rim. A central roundel depicts a finely detailed five-clawed dragon amidst stylized clouds, rendered in underglaze blue. The underside of the footring bears a six-character underglaze blue reign mark, ”大清雍正年製” (Dà Qīng Yōngzhèng Nián Zhì), translating to ”Made in the Great Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng Period.” H: Approximately 4.8cm D: Approximately 8.5cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
