A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain 'Fish and Aquatic Plants' Bowl, Xuande Mark. - A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, bearing an underglaze blue six-character Xuande reign mark (大明宣德年製) within a double circle to the base. The bowl features a scalloped rim and a small, raised foot. The interior is decorated with a central medallion depicting a fish amidst aquatic plants and clouds, encircled by a wave pattern bordering the rim. The exterior is elaborately decorated with four large fish, likely carp, and crabs interspersed with aquatic plants and stylized waves. The unglazed footrim reveals a light reddish-brown body.
