A Chinese Blue and White 'Dragon' Bowl, Yongzheng Mark. - A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, bearing an underglaze blue six-character Yongzheng reign mark. The exterior is decorated with a continuous scroll design of large blossoms and foliage, bordered by a band of stylized motifs at the rim. The interior features a central medallion depicting a dynamic five-clawed dragon amidst clouds and flames, also bordered by a stylized pattern. The base bears the underglaze blue reign mark ”大清雍正年製” (Dà Qīng Yōngzhèng Nián Zhì), translating to ”Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing Dynasty.” D: Approximately 16.7cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
