A Chinese Blue and White 'Dragon' Bowl, Yongzheng Mark. - A Chinese blue and white 'dragon' bowl, bearing a six-character imperial reign mark in standard script, reading 大清雍正年製 (Dà Qīng Yōngzhèng Nián Zhì), which translates to 'Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing'. The porcelain bowl is executed in underglaze cobalt blue and white. The exterior is decorated with two five-clawed dragons amongst scrolling floral motifs and stylized clouds, bordered by a repeating ruyi-head pattern below the rim and a classic scroll band on the footring. The interior features a central roundel enclosing a single five-clawed dragon, encircled by dense floral sprays, with a band of ruyi-head motifs and further floral designs adorning the walls below the rim.
