A Chinese Qingbai Incised Bowl. - A Chinese Qingbai incised bowl, of conical form, crafted from porcelain. The bowl is covered in a pale celadon-like glaze exhibiting fine crackling (crazing) across both interior and exterior surfaces. The interior is extensively decorated with subtle, incised patterns, featuring a band of stylized waves or scallops below the rim and a continuous field of scrolling floral or foliate motifs, possibly peonies or lotus, extending to the center. The exterior is similarly glazed down to an unglazed, buff-colored footring. D: Approximately 19.1cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
