A Chinese Doucai Porcelain Dragon Bowl, Chenghua Mark. - A Chinese Chenghua Marked Doucai Porcelain Dragon Bowl, decorated in the *doucai* style. The exterior features a prominent green dragon with red, blue, and yellow details amidst stylized clouds. The interior's central roundel depicts another green dragon with red and blue accents, all against a white ground. The exterior of the foot displays further smaller green dragons surrounded by colorful petal-like motifs. The recessed base carries an underglaze blue, six-character reign mark within a double ring, reading ”大明成化年製” (Dà Míng Chénghuà Nián Zhì), which translates to ”Made in the Chenghua reign of the Great Ming dynasty.” D: Approximately 18.7cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
