A Chinese Longquan Celadon Bowl, Possibly Ming Dynasty. - A Longquan celadon bowl, possibly dating to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The ceramic bowl is covered in a pale greenish-grey celadon glaze that exhibits a fine network of crackle (crazing) across its surface. It features a simple, elegant form with gently outward-flaring sides rising from a distinct footring. The recessed base within the footring shows three small, unglazed spur marks, indicative of traditional firing techniques. D: Approximately 17cm Provenance: Private collection based in West London.
