A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Vase and Dish, Qianlong Mark. - A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain ceramic pieces, comprising a tall, slender vase and a matching shallow circular dish or charger. Both items are decorated in underglaze blue with finely painted bamboo stalks and leaves, rendered with calligraphic brushstrokes. The vase features a vertical inscription reading \”竹報平安\” (zhú bào píng ān), translating to \”Bamboo reports peace\” or \”May bamboo bring peace.\” The dish displays a similar calligraphic inscription on its front, complementing the bamboo design. The recessed central base of the dish bears a blue underglaze four-character mark, appearing to read \”乾隆年製\” (Qiánlóng nián zhì), meaning \”Made in the Qianlong reign.\” H of Vase: Approximately 35cm  D of Dish: Approximately 36cm
