An Amlash Terracotta Zoomorphic Musical Instrument, 1st Millennium BC. A tall, elongated terracotta musical instrument in the Amlash style, shaped in a stylised zoomorphic form. The piece features a narrow, tapered body with a vertical slit opening running down the front, accompanied by a series of small perforations along the sides and reverse. A rounded handle is positioned at the back, and the top is formed as a simplified animal head with twin rounded projections and incised detailing. The surface displays horizontal ribbing along the main section of the body, adding texture and emphasis to its vertical form.
