An Indus Valley Painted Terracotta Jar, Circa 2500–2000 BCE. A cylindrical terracotta jar from the Indus Valley civilization, decorated with painted geometric and animal motifs in black and red slip on a buff ground. The exterior features stylized depictions of zebu bulls framed within bordered panels, interspersed with abstract patterns and cross-shaped motifs. The flared rim and wide neck are encircled by zigzag linear designs radiating outward.
