A delicate Persian miniature painting, 20th century, finely rendered in the Safavid revival style, depicting a serene maiden seated upon a grassy mound. She is shown in flowing robes of turquoise, red, and white, her head gently inclined as she interacts affectionately with a small cat curled at her feet. The composition is framed by soft vegetal motifs and set against a muted gold and olive-toned background.
