An Islamic Silver Ring Set with an Inscribed Agate. A silver ring featuring an oval agate stone engraved with Islamic calligraphy. The inscription reads: ”Inna anzalnāhu fī laylat al-qadr” (Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Decree). The agate shows a warm orange tone with a finely cut border of geometric motifs. The silver shank has a stepped, ridged design flowing up toward the bezel, with smooth surfaces and subtle darkened recesses. Provenance: Property from the estate of a distinguished private collector (deceased); assembled between the 1970s and 2024.
