An Islamic Brass Openwork Bazuband with Calligraphic Panels. A circular Islamic brass bazuband featuring an intricate openwork design composed entirely of interlaced Arabic calligraphy. The script forms continuous bands across the face, creating a dense and flowing pattern bordered by a scalloped outer edge. Small rivets secure the frame, and pierced side loops remain intact for original arm-strapping or suspension. Approximately 7 x 7cm Provenance: Property from the estate of a distinguished private collector (deceased); assembled between the 1970s and 2024.
