An Indian Kashmiri Papier-Mâché Tray with Multicoloured Floral Scrollwork. A richly decorated Indian papier-mâché tray featuring a vibrant surface of interlacing floral and foliate scrollwork in shades of green, orange, yellow, and red. The design is arranged in a symmetrical, almost mandala-like pattern, framed by a shaped border with repeating petal and leaf motifs. The underside is finished in green with a vintage paper label reading “Mohmad Hussan & Co., Merchants, Sarawari, Srinagar.” Approximately 34 x 23cm Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished W London lady
