A Mughal Jade Floral Plaque Inlaid with Ruby-Coloured Stones. - This Mughal jade plaque is carved in a lobed, scalloped outline and worked in deep green jade. The front is finely inlaid with a stylised floral spray composed of ruby-coloured stones arranged as blossoms and buds, linked by delicate wire tendrils, with small circular white stones forming the flower centres. The reverse is left plain, showing the natural translucency and veining of the jade. Approximately 7.4 x 5.8cm
