A Mughal Carved Bone Dagger Handle with Lion-Head Terminal. The handle is carved from pale bone and formed as a tall, tapering shaft surmounted by a finely modelled lion’s head with an open mouth. The mane is rendered in layered, leaf-like locks encircling the head, creating a strong sculptural contrast with the smooth cylindrical grip below. The surface shows natural tonal variations in honey and ivory hues, with darker streaking and grain visible throughout. L: Approximately 13.5cm
