A Group of Seljuk Cosmetic Implements, 12th–13th Century - A collection comprising two bronze cosmetic spoons and two Seljuk cosmetic vessels (bronze and steatite), each displaying characteristic Seljuk geometric and incised decoration. The bronze spoons include one with a broad, rounded bowl and faceted handle, and another with a long, slender shaft terminating in a squared bowl with engraved surface detail. Both exhibit sculpted shafts with stepped and ringed sections. The two cosmetic vessels consist of a shallow circular dish with a scalloped outline and incised border, and a raised rectangular cosmetic stand supported on four legs, decorated with geometric linear motifs along the sides and rim.
