AN ISLAMIC SILVER AND LAVENDER AGATE INTAGLIO SIGNET RING. - An Islamic signet ring featuring a large oval lavender agate cabochon. The stone is decorated with a finely engraved intaglio Arabic calligraphic inscription, surrounded by four-petalled floral motifs and curvilinear scrollwork. The gemstone is held within a raised bezel setting characterised by a decorative serrated crown edge. The heavy white metal shank and shoulders are embellished with deep chased and engraved foliate and geometric scrollwork.
