A CHINESE DOUCAI PORCELAIN ARABIC SCRIPT BOWL, ZHENGDE MARK. - A Chinese porcelain bowl decorated in the doucai palette using underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red, green, and yellow enamels. The exterior features six circular medallions containing Arabic script, likely Islamic invocations, positioned amidst stylized lotus blossoms and scrolling foliage. The upper rim is finished with a band of ruyi-heads and geometric motifs. The interior well contains a central circular medallion with further Arabic script enclosed within a decorative border. The base displays a four-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle reading Zhengde Nian Zhi (正德年製). D: Approximately 16.7cm H: Approximately 9.5cm
