A COLLECTION OF ILKHANID SILVER COINS, MONGOL-IRANIAN, 13TH–14TH CENTURY. - A group of Ilkhanid silver coins, struck during the Mongol Ilkhanate period in Iran, dating to the 13th–14th century. Each coin features Arabic inscriptions arranged within circular and linear formats, including religious formulas and mint inscriptions characteristic of Ilkhanid issues. The coins are struck on irregular flans, with variation in size and form across the group. The surfaces display a range of tones from bright silver to darker areas, with visible wear, oxidation, and encrustation consistent with age.
