INDO-PERSIAN SCHOOL, CONTEMPORARY 'TWO FIGURES SEATED BEFORE A WINDOW'. - This contemporary work in the Indo-Persian miniature style is executed in gouache and collage on paper. The composition features two seated figures with featureless faces, one dressed in a purple robe and the other in a patterned grey garment, both holding small cups. They are positioned in an interior setting before a large window that opens onto a landscape depicting a town and distant mountains. A small, monochromatic architectural print fragment is collaged into the upper right corner of the window view.
