PERSIAN MANUSCRIPT. LETTER ADDRESSED TO NAWAB SAHIB MUSHFIQ. 1296 AH (1879 AD). (SIGNED). - A framed Persian manuscript letter (ALS), executed in black ink on a single sheet of paper. The text is written in a cursive script, likely Shikasta or Nasta'liq, and is decorated with a regular grid of approximately twenty-four hand-applied four-pointed star motifs in a gold-coloured pigment, resembling the style of official documents from the late 19th-century Persianate tradition. The document features a formal address to Nawab Sahib Mushfiq and includes additional marginalia with a large calligraphic signature located in the centre-left. An inscription in the upper right margin includes the numerical characters 1296, corresponding to the Islamic Hijri calendar year 1296 (circa 1879 AD), alongside text reading Day 28 Dhu al-Hijjah.
