François Perrier (1590-1650) from Agostino Carracci (1557-1602) LA COMUNIONE DI SAN GIROLAMO Burin, 38 x 28,2 cm The engraving reproduces in contrast the painting by Agostino Carracci dated between 1592 and 1597, preserved at the National Gallery in Bologna. Perrier was a pupil of Giovanni Lanfranco who commissioned him to engrave a diatribe with the Domenichino. Good specimen well preserved with watermarked sheet.
